Sax. 4tet - This work is the third part of: "Die Riesen Suite" for Saxophone quartet. The giant works in a circus, and his Job was, to scare away the visitors after the show. Sax. 4tet - This a little 2 minutes intermission from a suite for sax. 4tet. The 1st part has the choice between playing the part on soprano sax or alto sax. (more difficult). The piece needs a very funky and percussive interpretation, getting out the "coolest" groove. Let's get up the audience from the seats, and entertain them well. Duo (Trio) - This solo piece for clarinet and flute (with orchestra) is written in a modern bossa nova style. The compositionis dedicated to Suzanne Creton (clarinet) and Chiara Marx (Flute). They are best friends and are playing in Tim Klerens wind band (Foulschter Musik). The composer has tried to portray this musical friendship. |
